About Us

PSCGR is a waste management and recycling company that aims to address pressing environmental and economic issues through innovative solutions. Our core focus is on converting waste cooking oil into valuable products, reducing pollution, and creating a circular economy.

We offer free collection services for waste cooking oil from various sources such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and other institutions. The collected oil undergoes a multi-step recycling process, including filtration, refining, conversion to biodiesel, and utilization of byproducts for soap and compost production. This comprehensive approach maximizes resource utilization and minimizes waste.

The Problem

PSCGR, also known as Philadelphia Southwest Cooking Grease Recycling, is focused on addressing the significant environmental challenge posed by waste cooking oil. Improper disposal of this oil leads to environmental pollution, clogged sewage systems, and lost economic value.

Our Solution

In order to mitigate the environmental impact and provide valuable products for the energy, agriculture, and consumer goods markets, PSCGR collects used cooking oil from various sources such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and households in Ghana and nearby African countries. The collected oil is then refined into reusable, clean cooking oil, biodiesel, glycerol-based soap, and compost. The business will be implemented in the aforementioned phases to ensure focused development and resource allocation.
